Her PhD is in the social impacts of tech, with a focus on surveillance & privacy in areas like workplace surveillance, health information privacy, & AI regulation. She’s currently the Acting Exec Dir of the Master in Public Policy in Digital Society program at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada.
